Implicit in Zelenskyy’s statement is that eventually the sports and entertainment will at some point no longer be able to distract the Russian people from their circumstances.
Eventually they will wake up.
They will realize they have been deceived.
They will realize the rest of the world has been moving forward while they have been moving backe.
And that Putin and his cronies have been pocketing the money that should have been going to the people.
And that Putin has been killing any politician who tries to stand up for the Russian people.
And they will have had enough.
Just like with Mussolini.
just like with Hitler.
They will realize Putin has left them defeated.
He has left them bankrupt.
He has taken a generation of their young men from them.
He has taken away their hope and their future.
And Putin will end up like Hitler. And like Mussolini.
