When the currency is falling, the import prices are rising. Three months ago, the ruble was sitting at 85 to 1 dollar. Today, the same item is sold for 110 rubles. If Russia didn’t react, the ruble would have soon jumped to 150.

There is a huge gap between this 30 percent inflation caused by the collapsing Russian currency and the official rate of 8.5 percent.

Russia is on the verge of bankruptcy. Their barter trade and the depreciation of their currency indicate that Russia is running very low on foreign currency reserves….
