I won’t be impartial in a situation in which neutrality helps a dictatorial regime to commit its atrocities. Calling for complete objectivity in this situation is ethically deplorable and simply wrong. The problem arises when you advocate that Ukraine either cedes territory (ranging from just Crimea to all occupied territories) or just flat out surrenders. This is not only just unfair, as victims will not get their justice, it would set an extremely dangerous precendent. Russia has been threatening to nuke the West regularly.
If Putin gets territory, that means that wars of annexation are acceptable if you have nukes.
